As of September 2026, JobAdder does not describe a built-in call notetaker, so AI notes reach a JobAdder record through an integration partner. The listings in JobAdder's own integrations directory include Metaview, SourceWhale Notetaker, RecView, TalentLynk and Quil (now CoRecruit). They split into meeting bots for video calls, calling platforms that transcribe phone calls, and agency platforms that capture both and write structured notes.

If you run Bullhorn instead, see AI notetakers for Bullhorn, which covers Bullhorn's native option. For a comparison across every agency ATS, use the staffing agency buyer's guide. This page stays with JobAdder: who integrates, how, what to score in a trial, and how to write notes that JobAdder's own AI can use.

What JobAdder's own AI does and does not cover

JobAdder's AI recruitment software page describes Adder Intelligence as of September 2026:

  • Candidate shortlisting: a summary and relevancy rating for each applicant, based on resumes, notes and job descriptions.
  • Candidate overviews: short, float-ready overviews generated from resume content and recruiter notes.
  • Job ad writing from a few points you enter.
  • Database prompts: AI scans notes and activities and prompts you to update records.

Its platform updates page also lists Smart Sync support for resumes and transcripts. None of this records or transcribes the call itself. The practical point is that two of those features read your notes, so a notetaker that writes clear, structured notes into JobAdder improves more than the note: it improves the overview you float to a client and the prompts you get afterwards.

Bot, calling platform or agency platform

  • Meeting bots (SourceWhale Notetaker, RecView, Metaview on video) are simplest when interviews are scheduled video calls. A named participant joins, which you should mention in the invite, and a bot cannot capture a call on your mobile.
  • Calling platforms (TalentLynk) capture phone calls well because the call runs through them. You are adopting a phone system, not just a notetaker, so check numbers, porting and call costs.
  • Agency platforms (CoRecruit) aim to cover phone and video and produce write-ups. They cost more per seat and CoRecruit's plans carry a 12-month minimum term.

Questions to ask every vendor in the demo

  1. Which JobAdder record types can you write to? Candidate, contact, company, job and placement are different places, and an intake call belongs on the contact or job, not a candidate.
  2. How do you match the call to a record? By calendar invite, phone number, email address or manual choice. Phone-number matching fails when a candidate calls from a work line.
  3. What happens when there is no match? A new candidate record, a queue for review, or nothing. Duplicates are expensive to clean up later.
  4. Can the recruiter review before it posts? CoRecruit describes both automatic and reviewed uploads; ask each vendor to show which mode they recommend for pay details.
  5. Do you update fields or only add notes? Field updates save time and can overwrite good data with a misheard number.
  6. What does the candidate see or hear? Bot name, entry message, or nothing at all, in which case your spoken notice does the work.
  7. Where is the transcript stored, and for how long? Get the default retention period in writing.

Cost for a six-recruiter JobAdder team

Arithmetic on published prices as of September 2026, not a quote. Three of the five tools do not publish prices, so they are not in the table.

Tool and planCalculationPer year
Metaview Free25 calls per recruiter per month$0
Metaview Pro$60 × 6 × 12$4,320
CoRecruit Starter, paid upfront$64 × 6 × 12$4,608
CoRecruit Starter, monthly on the annual term$85 × 6 × 12$6,120

A useful check on the free tier: 25 calls a month is roughly six a week. A contract desk doing 30 screens a week would use the allowance in the first days of the month, while a retained search consultant might not.

A trial scoresheet to copy

Trial two tools at most, on the same recruiters, for two weeks each. Score every item from 0 to 3 after real calls, multiply by the weight, and add up. Change the weights to fit your desk.

Would the recruiter keep using it? Y / N, why:

The maximum is 57 (19 points of weight × 3). The time measure matters as much as the score: a tool that scores well but still needs ten minutes of editing per note has not saved much.

A note structure that helps JobAdder's candidate overviews

Because JobAdder generates overviews from resume content and recruiter notes, set your notetaker's template (or your own habit) to put facts in consistent, labelled lines. Labels make it easier for any AI, and any colleague, to find the right detail.

Call type: Screen | Intake | Reference | Offer check-in
Role discussed: [Job title] at [Client], job [ID]

Summary (3 lines max): [fit and main reason]

Skills evidence:

Keep judgments out of the transcript-derived facts. "Seemed nervous" is not evidence of anything and does not belong in a record; see what not to write in interview notes.

  • Tell candidates before the call. Put a line in the invite and say it again at the start. The interview recording consent script has wording for strict jurisdictions.
  • Check where transcripts live. Most integrations store the transcript with the vendor and push a note to JobAdder. Know both retention periods.
  • Candidate data requests. Deleting a JobAdder record does not necessarily delete the vendor's copy. Test the process in the trial.
  • Client calls. Intake calls contain client commercial detail. Decide who in the team can see those transcripts.
  • Leavers. Make sure notes live in agency-owned accounts, not a recruiter's personal login.

Who each option suits

  • Metaview: teams that schedule interviews through JobAdder and want to start on a free tier, and are comfortable with a notetaker joining video calls.
  • SourceWhale Notetaker: teams already running outreach in SourceWhale who want meeting notes in the same place.
  • RecView: desks that use video heavily, including one-way video profiles for clients.
  • TalentLynk: phone-first desks willing to move calling onto a new platform to get transcripts of every call.
  • CoRecruit: agencies that want phone and video capture, structured notes and submittals in one product and can commit to an annual term.

Some recruiters do not need an integration at all and paste notes into JobAdder. Interview Signal works that way: it has no JobAdder integration, but as a desktop app with no bot it captures phone and video screens alike and drafts the submittal in your template for you to paste or send. If automatic JobAdder write-back is essential, pick one of the integrations above.

Questions people ask

Does JobAdder have a built-in AI notetaker?

Not one described on its AI page as of September 2026. JobAdder's Adder Intelligence features cover candidate shortlisting, candidate overviews, job ad writing and prompts to update records from notes. Call capture comes from integration partners listed in JobAdder's integrations directory.

Which AI notetakers are listed in the JobAdder integrations directory?

Listings we checked in September 2026 include Metaview, SourceWhale Notetaker, RecView, TalentLynk and Quil, which now trades as CoRecruit. Each listing says an admin needs to add the integration or points you to the vendor's trial.

Can a notetaker capture phone screens into JobAdder?

Yes, depending on the tool. TalentLynk's listing describes transcribing phone calls made through its calling platform, and CoRecruit names RingCentral and other VoIP systems. Meeting bots such as SourceWhale Notetaker and RecView's bot work on Zoom, Teams and Meet, not on a mobile call.

Why does note quality matter more in JobAdder now?

JobAdder says its candidate overviews are generated from resume content and recruiter notes, and that AI scans notes and activities to prompt record updates. Clear, structured call notes give those features better material to work with.
